KPDC 2012 Sponsorship Program Launched

KPDC is proud to announce the launch of its 2012 Sponsorship Program.

This program offers sponsorship opportunities to businesses interested in expanding their market to the dogs and dog walkers of Kilcona Park. The program (click link below to see the program) will provide several opportunities for reasonable rates and a commitment to offer discounts to members of the KPDC. We launched this program last week and already have 4 Gold sponsors signed on. Stay tuned for more information.

Black Dog Club Walk

The Black Dog Club is walking in…

Assiniboine Park, April 15
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Calling ALL Black Dog Club members!!!

The snow and slush is long gone and we’ll cross our fingers for all the sun we had for the walk we had in March!

King’s Park was a great success, and we hope even more members can come out this time! The forecast looks good so bring your sunglasses and your good walking shoes.

If you don’t yet have your membership card, this is the time and place to pick it up. Come out a bit early and get your card on the spot so we can start our walk as close to 1 p.m. as possible.

Our route is outlined in red on the map below. The shorter route is our “rain route” in case the weather turns foul. The longer route is the “sun route” which we all likely prefer. The entire walk should take about 45 minutes with plenty of time in between to socialize and say hello to everyone.

See you there with your magnificent black dogs!

Meet at: Assiniboine Park parking lot south of the Pavilion (lot between the Pavilion and the Conservatory).

Time: 1:00 p.m. to approximately 3:00 p.m.

Annual Spring Clean-Up set for April 14th 2012

JOIN THE POO CREW

Kilcona Park 10^th Annual Spring Clean-Up

Saturday, April 14, 2012

10 AM to 1 PM

Rain date is April 21

Visit your favorite dog park with your favorite dog(s) and join other volunteers as we pitch in, pick up, and spruce up the place.

Kilcona Park Dog Club will provide garbage bags and Kilcona park staff pick-up and transport them to the waste depot. Please bring work gloves and containers like plastic grocery bags or pails.

You can also clean-up on cash with the club’s 50/50 draw. Proceeds from the draw are donated to Winnipeg’s animal shelters.
